The Amrut Foundation worked with the Midlands Hindu Society in bringing Diwali cheer to the Pietermaritzburg Association For The Aged (PAFTA). The Foundation handed over food hampers to the value of R90 000 to the members of the community, as they prepared for the festival of Diwali.
Members of the community thanked Amrut and expressed their joy on being remembered and included at a time when the aged often miss the company of their families.
