Mission
The Amrut Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to achieve their full potential through education, community development, and social entrepreneurship. Our goal is to create a positive impact on society by fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and social responsibility.
Vision
The Amrut Foundation envisions a society where every individual has better access to education, health, and economic opportunities, regardless of their background or circumstances. We envision safe, self-sufficient communities wherein everyone can reach their full potential. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to inspire a culture of social responsibility and innovation, and to be a movement for positive change in South Africa and beyond.
The Amrut Foundation currently works in four key areas:
Providing bursaries and learnerships to deserving students at high school and tertiary level. Providing infrastructural support to veritable educational institutions.
Providing infrastructural support and maintenance assistance to credible NGOs who serve the aged, impaired, or economically and socially vulnerable.
Providing essential food and water supplies to the economically vulnerable, in areas affected by natural calamity or social instability.
Harnessing the innate entrepreneurial spirit of the people by providing necessary equipment, skills training, and entrepreneurial mentorship to viable small-scale entrepreneurial projects.
