Project Completion Report : Turfhall Home Made Winter Ready

Since its inception in November 1984, the Turfhall Cheshire Home has been a beacon of hope, providing specialized 24-hour care to physically disabled adults from previously disadvantaged communities. As a long-standing partner, the Amrut Foundation has been instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Turfhall Cheshire Home. Amrut’s commitment has been evident through extensive renovations, which included the installation and repair of solar geysers and electric fencing, significantly improving the living conditions at the Home.

In a recent collaborative effort, The Amrut Foundation has once again demonstrated its dedication by completing a comprehensive refurbishment of the ceiling, roof, and gutters of the expansive property, ensuring that the Home is well-prepared for the winter season. Additionally, the refurbishment of an existing walkway has been a thoughtful addition, enabling residents who live independently to comfortably access the main hall.

The management of Turfhall Cheshire Home has expressed gratitude towards Amrut for their unwavering support. In response, The Foundation has reassured the continuation of this fruitful partnership, promising ongoing assistance and solidarity with the Home’s mission. This alliance stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and the shared vision of a better future for vulnerable members of society.
